About Me

I went to college in Brooklyn for Network Admin and Security, I got a job as a Network admin working on point of sale systems with my programming professor. I installed and configured Linux systems and accessed them remotely to configure users databases and maintain security for those systems. I eventually moved into using Linux systems and started learning more languages in order to write scripts that would help with server administration.

Since then I moved into JavaScript and learned Node.js when that came out. I worked with it for a while running websites, I mainly worked with WordPress and built custom plugins in PHP for users of that framework. I am now in the Ruby fan club, I write plugins in Ruby to extend functionality of the Jekyll framework. Work Experience

Co-Owner / Lead Developer - HDG, LLC (Jan 2023 - Present)

This is an open source business on github and discord I develop plugins and themes for. We build sites using the Jekyll static site generator written in Ruby. We also create free templates for other people in the community to use freely.

Freelance Web Developer - Fiverr, UpWork, Freelancer (2016 - 2019)

I would search out clients looking for web work to be done and apply via multiple freelance websites. I would then work on them and complete them. I did this in my spare time while holding down another full time job as a case manager for DirecTV solving complicated technical issues for customers.

As Needed Wordpress Developer - PoBoyWeb Designs (2014 - 2017)

I would solve coding issues for Shawn as he needed help. Sometimes it was just simple CSS or PHP to make the site work correctly. Other times it was a whole javascript file or files to create a new feature needed for a client.

Network Admin / Network Tech - Bargain POS (2000 - 2003)

I would network all peripherals and computers needed for customers POS systems. I had to manually enter all of their products and prices into databases and make sure everything worked correctly. I did this while going to school to obtain my degree in Network Admin and Security.
